More on Crooks and Castles Sweatpants

Crooks and Castles sweatpants have their own section here, but no pair is listed yet: the first fleece joggers are on the way, and this page will fill as they arrive. Until then, the nearest thing on the site to a standalone pair of Crooks and Castles sweats is the bottom half of each tracksuit, which you can already study in the photos. Below you will find what the label has printed on its joggers in past seasons, what to look for when the first pairs land, and how to size and wash them. Keep the Crooks and Castles fleece joggers page saved so you can see them as soon as they go up.

What Crooks and Castles Sweatpants Usually Carry

The label's joggers lean on the same marks as its hoodies and tees. Retail listings from earlier seasons show fleece pairs with gothic lettering, a Medusa head, a bandana paisley fill and a small embroidered logo on the left thigh. One style added a rubber logo patch at the back of the waist. The shape stayed simple across most of them.

Leg Prints Versus a Small Thigh Logo

Where the graphic sits changes how a pair reads. A tall word or a chain running along the outer seam draws the eye down, so it sits best under a plain top. A small mark on the thigh is the quieter option and leaves room for a loud graphic up top, such as one of the printed pullover hoodies with a Medusa or paisley chest.

Waistbands, Pockets and Gathered Ankles

Expect an elastic waist with a drawcord, two side pockets and ribbed cuffs that gather the hem above the shoe. Those three details decide most of the comfort, so each product page will say which ones a pair has.

Tracksuit Joggers You Can Wear Right Now

Each set in the Crooks and Castles tracksuits range comes with matching joggers, and all of them have a drawcord waist and cuffed ankles. If you want fleece pants today, these are the pairs to look at, sold together with their hoodie.

Chain Panels and Cloud-Dye Legs

The loudest legs belong to the red and gold chain print tracksuit, where the chain print becomes a wide stripe down each side seam and a small crest sits on one thigh. For color rather than a stripe, the navy and white tie-dye set carries the cloud pattern from hoodie to ankle, with a small panel print repeated on one leg.

Black Joggers with Lettering Near the Cuff

A plainer pair comes with the black reflective logo jogger set. Its silver-gray CROOKS lettering runs up the lower leg close to the cuff, so it still shows under a long coat. The arch logo set keeps its joggers almost blank, with one small script on the upper thigh.

Choosing a Weight and Cut for Joggers

Two things separate one pair of sweats from another once the print is set aside: how heavy the fleece is and how the leg is shaped.

How Heavy the Fleece Should Be

The tracksuit joggers here are brushed-back fleece of around 80% cotton and 20% polyester, at roughly 420 GSM. That is lighter than our hoodies, which sit near 480 GSM, so the legs stay comfortable on a long walk. It is a fair reference point for the standalone sweatpants still to come. When it is too warm for full-length fleece, the printed fleece shorts use similar cloth at around 400 GSM.

Brushed Inside, Smooth Outside

The brushed face goes against your skin for warmth, while the smooth outer face takes the print cleanly. A thicker fleece also hangs straighter and shows fewer knee bags after a day of sitting.

Tapered Joggers or a Straighter Sweatpant

A tapered jogger narrows toward a ribbed cuff and shows off your sneakers. A straight sweatpant with an open hem drops over the shoe and feels closer to a relaxed trouser. If you mostly wear high-tops, the cuffed version stacks more neatly on top of them. Twill and denim styles, once they arrive, will sit apart in the casual pants and jeans section.

Sizing Sweatpants by Waist and Inseam

Sizes on this site run S, M, L, XL and XXL. For pants, go by your waist first, then check the length against the chart in our size guide for joggers and fleece bottoms, where every measurement is listed by size.

When You Fall Between Two Sizes

The drawcord takes in a waist that is slightly loose, but it cannot add room to one that is tight. So if your waist sits between two sizes, the larger one is usually the safer pick, especially if you like a relaxed seat and thigh.

Where the Cuff Should Land

A cuffed jogger should end at or just above the ankle bone. If a past pair bunched up over your shoes, you can take your usual size and push the cuff up a little; ankle length matters less than a waist that fits.

Fit for Taller Frames

One retail reviewer found a past pair of the label's joggers a little short in the leg. If you are tall, compare the inseam on the chart with a pair you already own before you order.

Washing Fleece Joggers with Printed Legs

Turn the pants inside out, wash them cold with similar colors and skip bleach. Our fleece and print care instructions cover the details for each kind of garment, from tie-dye to heavy prints.

Keeping a Leg Print From Cracking

Heat is what breaks a print down, so tumble dry on low or hang the pair over a line. If the fleece needs ironing, keep the iron off the graphic, or press from the inside with a cloth between them. Wash a new tie-dye pair on its own the first few times, since some dye can run.

Questions About Crooks and Castles Sweatpants

Are There Any Crooks and Castles Sweatpants in Stock?

Not yet. The first standalone pairs are on the way, and the only joggers on the site right now come as part of a tracksuit.

Can I Buy the Tracksuit Joggers Without the Hoodie?

No, the tracksuits are sold as a set, so the joggers come with their matching hoodie.

What Sizes Will the Sweatpants Come In?

Sizes on the site run S to XXL, and each pair will have its waist and inseam measurements listed on the size guide.

How Heavy Are the Joggers on This Site?

The tracksuit joggers are brushed-back fleece of roughly 420 GSM, a little lighter than the hoodies they come with.

Do the Joggers Have Pockets?

The tracksuit joggers have a drawcord waist and cuffed ankles; pocket details for each new pair will be listed on its product page.

Should I Size Up in Fleece Joggers?

Only if your waist falls between two sizes. The drawcord can tighten a loose waist but cannot loosen a tight one.

Will a Printed Leg Fade in the Wash?

A cold wash inside out and a low or air dry keep the print in good shape for much longer than hot water and high heat.
