Questions Customers Ask Most
These Crooks and Castles FAQs gather the questions we hear most often, grouped by topic. If yours is not here, send it through the contact page and a person will reply.
Sizing and Fit Questions
What sizes do you carry?
Most pieces come in S, M, L, XL and XXL. The exact sizes in stock for each item are shown on its product page.
Does one size fit the same on every garment?
The chart is shared across the range, but the cut is not identical. A hoodie is cut with more room than a tee, so check the garment measurements on each product page if fit matters to you.
My measurements fall between two sizes. What should I do?
For tops, go one size larger for room to layer and size down for a closer fit. For bottoms, use the larger of your waist and hip. The size guide has the full measuring steps.
Graphics and Colors
Is the graphic on the front, the back or both?
It depends on the item. Each product page shows the print placement in its photos, and the description says where the graphic sits.
Does the graphic change between colors?
Usually not. When a design comes in several colors, the artwork stays the same and only the base color changes. The placement and size of the graphic are also kept the same, so the only real choice is which base color you prefer.
How do I see the exact color?
Product photos are taken in even light, but screens differ. If the shade matters, ask us before ordering and we can describe it.
Can I request a graphic on a different garment?
No. We sell each piece as it was released, so custom placements are not available.
Washing and Wear
How should I wash a printed piece?
Cool water, inside out and a gentle cycle. That routine protects the print and the color better than any special product.
Is the dryer safe for printed clothes?
It is better not to. Heat is what cracks and dulls a print over time, so drying on a hanger is the safer choice.
Why does a new print feel firm?
A fresh print has not been flexed yet, so it can feel firm for the first few wears. It softens after a few cool washes and some regular wear, and there is nothing you need to do to speed that up.
Is ironing safe for a printed piece?
Never directly over the print. Turn the garment inside out and iron on a low setting.
Stock and Restocks
Some categories look thin. Is the site finished?
Yes, the site is complete. Stock arrives in batches, so some shelves fill up later than others, and new pieces are placed first in their category as soon as they are listed.
Will a sold-out item come back?
Sometimes, but we never promise a date. The product page is the place to check, because it updates the moment new stock lands, and sizes are shown there as soon as they are back.
Orders and Delivery
Is it possible to edit an order once it is placed?
Only before the parcel leaves us. Contact us as soon as possible with the order number and the change you need.
Where do you deliver?
Delivery covers every country offered when you enter your address at checkout, including the United States and Canada.
Tracking shows no new updates. Is something wrong?
Usually not. A carrier only scans the parcel at set points, so there can be quiet days in between, especially across a border. If nothing moves for several days, send us the order number.
Are gift cards available?
Yes, and they are a good choice when you do not know someone's size.
Returns and Problems
Which items can be returned?
Items that are unworn, unwashed and still tagged, plus anything that arrived damaged or wrong. The returns page lists the details.
How does a size exchange work?
Return the first item and place a new order for the size you want. If you are worried about stock, place the new order first and we refund the original when it arrives.
What should I do if my order arrived damaged?
Take photos of the item, the packaging and the label, then send them to us with the order number. We will arrange a replacement or a refund.
