Track Your Order
How to Track a Crooks and Castles Order
Your Crooks and Castles tracking reference is in the dispatch email, which arrives once the parcel leaves us. Open that email, use the carrier link, and you will see each scan as the parcel moves. If you cannot find the email, check these first:
- Your spam or promotions folder, since dispatch emails sometimes land there and are easy to miss.
- The email address you entered at checkout, in case it has a typo.
- Whether the order has shipped yet, as the email is sent only after dispatch.
Your account also lists every order with its status and tracking details.
Reading Tracking Without Worrying
Carriers scan a parcel when it enters their system, at major hubs and on the final delivery route. The first scan can take a day to appear, because it only shows once the carrier has the parcel in hand.
Quiet days in the middle of a route are also normal. A parcel crossing a border, for example, may show no update for several days while it clears customs.
Write to us once the estimated date has passed and tracking has shown no new scan for several days. Send the order number and the tracking reference, and we will ask the carrier to trace the parcel and keep you posted until it is found.
When the Address Is the Real Problem
A parcel that stalls on the same scan for days is usually sitting at a depot waiting on an address detail rather than lost. Check what you typed at checkout first: a missing apartment or building number is the single most common cause, and it is fixable while the parcel is still with the carrier.
If the address is right, the next thing worth checking is whether anyone else at your address accepted it. Carriers record a name on delivery, and that name is often on the tracking page rather than in the email.
What to Send Us
Order number, the tracking reference and the last scan you can see, through the contact page. That is enough to open a case with the carrier without a chain of replies asking for the same three things. Chasing before the estimated date has passed rarely moves anything, and the carrier will not act on it either.
