Payments and Refunds

Crooks and Castles payments are processed by a secure payment provider at checkout. This page explains which methods are offered, what to do if a charge looks wrong, and how refunds find their way back to you.

How Crooks and Castles Payments Work

The payment methods available for your order appear in the checkout before you pay. Choose one, confirm the total, and the provider handles the rest on its own secure page.

If a Charge Looks Wrong

A pending charge means your bank has approved the amount but not yet completed it. If an order fails, the pending amount usually drops away on its own. If it stays, or you see a charge you do not recognize, send us the details and we will check it.

Refunds

Refunds go back the same way the payment came in, to the original card or account. We start the refund once the returned item is checked.

Politica di reso
Does this site keep my card details?

No. The payment is handled by the provider, so your full card details never reach our store. We only see that the payment was approved.

What should I do if my payment is declined?

Try once more, and if it fails again, contact your bank or card provider, since the decline comes from their side. You can also try another payment method listed at checkout.

Can I split an order across two payment methods?

Each order takes one payment method. If you need to pay in two parts, place two separate orders.

Why is the amount on my statement different?

If your card uses another currency, your bank converts the total and may add its own fee. The amount we charge matches the total shown at checkout.

When will I see my refund?

We start it as soon as the return is checked in. Your bank then takes a few business days to post it to your account.

Is store credit an option instead of a refund?

Yes, if you ask for it when you start the return.

What happens if my payment card has been closed?

Tell us before sending anything back, so we can arrange the refund another way with your bank.

Is the original shipping cost refunded?

That depends on the reason for the return. If the item arrived damaged or wrong, we cover it; for a change of mind, the returns page explains what applies.
