Inclusion

Everything at Crooks and Castles runs S to XXL and nothing else, and there is no point dressing that up. A five-size range leaves people out at both ends, and we would rather say so on this page than let someone find out at checkout.

Who the Pieces Are Made For

Most of the range is unisex. The same hoodies, tees, crewnecks and shorts appear in both the men's and the women's sections, and a size means the same thing in either one. Hoodies and crewnecks have extra room through the chest, tees hang straight, and the fleece shorts have drawcord waists that adjust a little. If the size range grows, the change will appear as new sizes on the product pages, not as a statement on this page.

Where the Fit Information Lives

A clear size chart helps more than broad promises, so the details that decide a purchase sit on each product page and in the size guide. The size guide lists every garment from S to XXL so you can compare it with something you already wear, and the product care page explains how each fabric behaves after washing, since brushed fleece and cotton jersey respond differently. None of that adds sizes, but it takes the guesswork out of the five that exist.

This page would rather promise less than borrow the language of a range the store does not carry yet. When the size range changes, it will show up as new options when you choose a size.

Why the Range Stops at XXL

Adding a size is more than scaling a pattern up. The shoulders, the armholes and the position of the graphic all have to change, and the artwork itself may need resizing so it still sits in the right place on the chest.

That is an explanation, not an excuse. Five sizes do not fit everyone, and widening the range depends on what becomes available for this store.

Sizing Information Available Now

Every measurement available is in the size guide, so nobody has to order just to find out. If the figures do not suit you, it is better to know that before checkout than after.
