Returns and Refunds
Crooks and Castles returns are there because ordering clothes online always carries some guesswork. A size can feel different from what you expected, or a color can look different in daylight. This page explains what we accept and how the process works.
The time window for a return and any conditions that apply to your order are shown at checkout and in your order confirmation.
Crooks and Castles Returns We Accept
- Items that are unworn, unwashed and still have every tag attached.
- The wrong size, whether the piece came out too small or too big.
- Anything that arrived damaged, marked or different from the item you ordered.
Items We Cannot Take Back
- Anything that has been washed, even a single time.
- Items that show signs of wear, such as creases, marks, odors or stretched cuffs.
- Pieces returned without their tags, because we cannot resell them as new.
How to Start a Return
Send us a message from the contact page with your order number, the item you are returning, and the reason. We reply with the return details and the address to send it to. Please wait for that reply before posting anything, so the parcel reaches the right place and can be matched to your order.
Exchanging for Another Size
A size exchange works as a return plus a new order. Send the first item back as described above, and place a new order for the size you want once the return is confirmed. If you are worried the size will sell out, place the new order first and return the original afterward, and we refund it when it arrives.
If an Item Arrives Damaged
Take photos before anything else, including the packaging and the shipping label. Send them to us with the order number, and we will arrange a replacement or a refund. You do not pay to return an item that reached you damaged or wrong.
How Your Refund Reaches You
Refunds go back to the payment method used for the order. Once the returned item is checked, we start the refund and send a confirmation.
- The refund begins on our side as soon as the returned item has been received and inspected.
- Your bank or card provider then takes its own time to post it, which we cannot speed up.
- A card refund may show as a separate credit instead of removing the original charge, so check the full statement.
- If the card or account you paid with has been closed, tell us before sending the item so we can plan another way.
These rules are meant to keep returns simple for you and fair for everyone who orders after you.
For anything this page does not cover, send us a message with your order number and we will help.
